Seller’s Choice.

Pick a weight and Corkopia selects the assortment. It is the faster path when you need good cork in quantity rather than one particular piece.

Shop Seller’s Choice

Three steps, no surprises.

  1. Choose your pieces

Browse by family and size. Every listing is one specific piece of cork, photographed and measured before it goes up, so the piece on screen is the piece that ships.

  2. Your box sizes itself

As you add pieces, Corkopia works out which shipping box they actually fit in, using each piece’s real dimensions rather than its weight alone. Your running box stays visible while you shop.

  3. We pack and confirm

Every box is packed by hand and checked against those measurements before it ships. If a better fit exists, we tell you. Final packing is confirmed by Corkopia.

The record

Measured before it is listed.

Cork is irregular by nature, so a photograph on its own will not tell you whether a piece fits your enclosure. Each one is weighed and measured individually, and the full record is published on its listing.

Catalogue number
A permanent reference for one specific piece. No two pieces share one.
Weight
Weighed on its own, never estimated from its size.
Maximum length
The longest span of the piece, to check against the space you are filling.
Wall thickness
How deep the bark runs, which decides how the piece mounts and how it sits.
Shape
Round, flat, half round or statement, the family the piece belongs to.
Minimum box
The smallest shipping box the piece fits, which is what sets your delivery.

Mounted, planted, inhabited.

Orchid mounting

Cork bark is a long-standing mount for epiphytic orchids. It drains quickly, gives roots something to grip, and holds up to constant humidity.

Vivariums

Backgrounds, ledges and hides. The broken surface gives moss and small plants somewhere to take hold as the enclosure matures.

Terrariums

Height, hollows and texture at a scale you can plant into: the structure a closed planting needs before anything else goes in.

Reptile enclosures

Climbing structure and cover. Rounds and half rounds make hides and tunnels; flats make basking shelves and back walls.

Five distinct pieces of cork bark, each displayed on its own plinth

No two pieces are the same.

Cork is harvested in slabs from the bark of the cork oak, and every slab curves, splits and weathers on its own terms. Nothing here can be restocked or reordered. When a piece sells, that listing closes for good, which is why each one is catalogued as a single item rather than a size in a range.

Common questions.

Do I receive the exact piece in the photograph?

Yes. Every listing is one piece, with its own photographs and its own measurements. There is no second unit behind it, so once it sells the listing closes.

How is shipping worked out?

By the space your pieces take up rather than what they weigh. Cork is very light for its size, so the box a piece fits into matters more than the scale reading. Your box is selected for you as you build it, and you can see it update on the right.

What is a Seller’s Choice box?

A prepacked box in a fixed weight, where Corkopia chooses the assortment instead of you picking piece by piece. Choose it when you want good cork in quantity and the specific shapes matter less.

I am not sure which size I need.

Every listing publishes its maximum length and wall thickness, and each family above filters by size, so you can narrow to what fits before you open anything. If you would rather talk it through, use Help Me Choose.
